Had kind of a rough morning yesterday, had some issues with my new health insurance and it just knocked me off course. I was able to talk to Zach about it, and I also went to work, and by the time I got home I felt better. Sometimes I think it’s deceiving when I’m posting and I feel good. I have rough patches through the day, but my rebound time is a lot quicker now than it used to be.
Still, I’m amazed at how anyone who has a “traditional” schedule gets anything done. I sleep around 8-9 hours a night, exercise for about an hour, work on projects about an hour, and then I go to work. 25 hours a week. And I still feel like there’s not enough time in the day. I’m amazed that anyone can take care of themselves when working a full time job. I’m lucky and thankful that I’m able to work part-time.
I guess if you really loved your job and your career, it would be a bit easier as you’re already DOING what you enjoy. I am working a job part-time and pursuing other ventures the rest of my day, including writing books and doing this blog.
So, if you’re one of those people juggling a life and a job, shouts out to you! You’re killing it and I’m so impressed.
